1. Who we are
Sajel is a work platform where teams record and organize their operations: databases, boards, forms, and apps built on top of them. This policy explains what information we collect when you use Sajel, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We have tried to keep it in plain language.
2. Information we collect
Account data. When you sign up we collect your name, email address, and password (stored only as a secure hash). If you enable two-factor authentication we store the data needed to verify your codes.
Workspace and product data. This is the content you and your team create in Sajel: workspaces, bases, records, fields, attachments, comments, and app configurations. It belongs to you. We access it only to operate the service, to fix problems you report, or when the law requires it.
Usage and technical data. We keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and timestamps) and security audit records to keep accounts safe and to diagnose issues.
3. Cookies and local storage
Sajel uses cookies and browser localStorage for two purposes: keeping you signed in (authentication tokens and session state) and remembering your preferences (such as theme and layout choices). We do not use cookies for advertising.
4. How we use your information
We use the information above to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Sajel service.
- Keep your account secure, including detecting suspicious sign-in activity.
- Respond to your support requests and feedback.
- Send essential service messages, such as security or billing notices.
5. What we do not do
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising trackers or share your data with ad networks. We do not read your workspace content to build profiles about you or your team.
6. Where your data lives
Your data is stored on managed infrastructure operated for Sajel, protected by encryption in transit and access controls. Regional data residency, including hosting within Oman, is on our roadmap, and we will update this policy as those options become available.
7. Your rights
You are in control of your data. At any time you can:
- Access the data in your workspaces through the product itself.
- Export your records to CSV.
- Delete your account, which removes your personal data and the workspaces you own from our active systems.
If you need help exercising any of these rights, contact us and we will assist.
8. Changes and contact
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the date above and, where the change is significant, notify you in the product or by email. Questions or requests can be sent to hello@sajel.om.
