Apps

Apps

Build custom pages and dashboards and share them with stakeholders.

What are apps?

Apps are custom, shareable pages built from your board data. They're designed for people who need to see information but don't need full workspace access.

Examples:

An executive dashboard showing KPIs and charts from multiple boards
A public status page for a project
A department summary view

Building an app

1

Go to Apps

Access apps from the workspace sidebar.

2

Create app

Give it a name, icon, and color, and pick a type.

3

Design the page

Use the page builder to add elements: headings, text, buttons, links, data tables, number tiles, and bar, pie, line, or area charts, each wired to a board.

4

Share

Share the app with specific people or workspaces, or publish it to get a public link.

Apps always read live data from your boards, so a published dashboard stays up to date without any extra work.

App types

Custom page: a freeform page composed of building blocks (text, tables, numbers, charts)
Board view: a filtered, styled view of a specific board
Dashboard: a page focused on numbers and charts across boards
Form: a form presented as its own app page

Published apps can be viewed by anyone with the public link, without needing a SAJEL account. Unpublished apps are visible only to the people and workspaces they're shared with.
